This article examines the Amazigh Toponyms that exists today in Djijel, in its mountains, countryside, and valleys.

Amazigh Toponyms is one of the indications of the identity of the region, its history, and its heritage.

This article seeks to monitor these Toponyms that continues to this day in different regions of Djijel and discuss its relationship with identity.

We studied the concept of identity, then toponymy, and the Amazigh language, and we followed that with examples of places bearing Amazigh names in the Djijel region, with general information about their history, and we ended up linking these names to The identifiable dimension of the region.
