Article summary: Through this reading, we seek to contribute to the definition of the concept of identity from a socio-political perspective, where many scientific disciplines agree that the concept of identity does not go beyond the scope of being that definition or discrimination or rather that identification of the individual or the group within certain geographical and time limits.

Identity is also defined through the individual's personality being within the path of socialization, where he acquires a set of cultural, religious, political and other elements so that he can determine his belonging within the society in which he lives.

In this context, the concept of identity has become mysterious in recent years, given the changes that have occurred in the composition of societies within the globalization system.

Especially in the aftermath of successive immigration movements since the Second World War, starting from the countries of the South towards the countries of Europe and America, as a result of which the emergence of new generations that have acquired the nationalities of those countries that received their parents in addition to their original nationalities.

That is why the question again about identity, belonging and citizenship in those Western societies.
