Separation from the newly established principle in international law, after stipulating it in the Declaration of Friendly Relations of the United Nations in 1970, which directly indicated the right of states to self-determination in order to maintain peace and international security and not to arise conflicts between countries, and therefore the principle of separation is established in international law But the separation of states has many effects.

One of the first of these effects is the affiliation of states to international organizations, where international law did not address in its various agreements the question of the separation of a state or union made up of several countries into an independent state in terms of who has the right to enjoy membership and must leave the matter to jurisprudence.
