Abstract EN

This article discusses the problem of the distance between the self-researcher and the use of photography as an area of study in visual sociology.

It appeared the importance of using the camera in field research, as a tool no less important than the familiar techniques of the research for social researchers in the collection of data, also as a methodological approach of understanding, analyzing, and describing the forms of interactions and social strategies produced or those that are reproduced by individuals and groups in relation to various areas (Parks, cafes, beaches, graffiti, etc.).

Furthermore, it has associated to dynamics and transformations of physical, ecological and society equally.
