Abstract EN

This study aims to identify the methods of news processing taken by Al-Hadith satellite channel for news of the Corona-19 pandemic, describing the Al-Hadith channel as a model for Arab news satellite channels in the Arab and non-Arab regions.

The phenomenon by analyzing the content of the newscasts of the channel that dealt with the subject of the Corona pandemic in the newscasts, and to identify methods of editing newscasts about the Corona-19 pandemic, and to find out the editorial policy adopted by the channel towards this pandemic, the researcher used the content analysis approach, the study community included a sample of The news bulletins of Al-Hadith channel reached (120) news bulletins throughout the day.

The study raised a number of questions, as follows: 1- How did Al-Hadith Channel Corona news? 2- Has Al-Hadith channel addressed the Coronavirus pandemic news about the limits of objectivity and balance? 3- What is the editorial policy of Al-Hadith news channel that the channel took to tackle the Corona virus? The study came out with the following results and recommendations: 1- Al-Hadith channel dealt with interest in news of the Corona pandemic, and gave it a degree of news coverage.

2- Al-Hadith channel dealt with credibility and balance in dealing with Corona virus news.

The researcher recommended that the Al-Hadith channel should deal professionally and objectively within the framework of a balance in selecting and editing news and presenting it for analysis and interpretation in order to raise awareness of the dangers of the Corona virus.
