Abstract EN

This study focuses on the "Turkish attitudes towards Saudi Arabia" during the period from 2002 to 2015.

The study problem lies in the nature of the Turkish-Saudi relations before the coup attempt, which was moving according to the nature of economic interests and historical and geographical dimension.

This role, however, increased especially during the spring revolutions and Iranian threats to the region, especially Saudi Arabia, which is part of Iranian ambition.

This study highlights the importance of rapprochement with the major regional powers to protect their borders and sovereignty, especially with Saudi Arabia.

This study aimed to identify the historical roots in the development of Turkish-Saudi relations and understood the nature of Turkish foreign policy orientations towards Saudi Arabia during the Arab Spring revolutions until King Suleiman' recipient of the authority, and to know the nature of economic relations between the two countries.

The study revealed several results, the most important of which is that the Turkish-Iranian relations in this period were predominantly economic, and the arrival of the Justice and Development government has positively impacted the nature of relations as it worked to achieve progress towards the East.

The Arab Spring revolutions affected those relations due to the different positions of both countries because they have different regional portfolios.
