Abstract EN

The current study discussed the Abbasid leader Bajkam as seen by historians 323 h-329 h / 935 g-941 g based on a set of historical narration written by prominent historians and during that period.

the news of the Abbasid prince Bajkam came different and contracted in historical resources and references ; some are praising while others are vilifying.

as historical narrations are scattered in references, some researches and students cannot gather all narrations especially those related to Bajkam regime or close to such age.

they may depend on some historical narrations that do not tackle the news of Bajkam in detail.

this makes some of these historical narrations ignore an important aspect of Bajkma’s life, his political, military, and social role in the Abbasid caliphate.

furthermore, the study presents many historical narrations by prominent historians who ignored significant aspects of the leader Bajkam’s life as they were not true in conveying certain important narrations.

the reason for that may be the weakness occurred to the Abbasid caliphate as well as the race among senior leaders to impose their domination on the caliphate especially the age of prince of princes which reflected many of disturbances, revolutions, and disorders along with those dominating the caliph.

this urged some historians to record their narrations on the base that everyone who got the position of princes principality is an authoritative and dominating especially they are Turkish who were known of mess during the Abbasid era.
