Abstract EN

This research deals with the grammatical terminology mentioned in hadiths that were attributed to the first century ah.

it briefly takes the concept of grammatical terms.

then, it elaborates on the term “grammar mistakes” because it was the main reason for the initiation of Arabic grammar, showcasing mental and written evidences of its spread.

in addition, it reviews the texts that contain the term.

moreover, it points out which is true and which is not.

the research also discusses the criteria that Arab scholars have relied on to determine grammar mistakes.

following this, it extracts from the aforementioned texts the terms of “language”, “Arabic”, “grammar”, “syntax”, “the syntax of the holy Quran”, “grammatical terminology”, “measurement”, etc.

furthermore, it shows what is truly attributed to it and what is not; in light of the state of those texts whether they are true, weak or forged based on logical and mental arguments.

overall, the paper provides a historical overview of the use of these terms and their semantic development / evolution over time by reflecting on their significance.
