Abstract EN

The study aims at analyzing critically the semiology of the white Colour in the poetic collection Tadhares El Bayadh composed by the poet Nawwaf Ahmad Hakami.

Upon the white colour, the port built his poetic image through the manifestations of that colour in the poems of that volume.

Using the coding technique, the poet changed that colour into a literary medium through which he expressed his self-vision and the issues and concerns of his society.

The creative poet reformed the visual world into a new verbal world in which he mixed what is visual with what is verbal in his poetic composition maintaining the aesthetic values of both worlds
