English Abstract

Uday bin Hatem al-Tai, is: the son of Hatim al-Tai, who was an example of generosity and his father was one of the finest Arabs.

Uday took over the leadership of his tribe after the death of his father in the land of the mountains: (Aga and Salami), which is:( Hail) currently.

He was a Christian and then converted to Islam.

He was one of the Companions of the Prophet Muhammad.

The date of his birth between the year °1 - °4 before the Prophet's migration.

He died at the age of 12* years.

Generous Sahabi, the Messenger of Allah (Allaah be upon him) Honor him if he entered, A great leader, a brilliant preacher, and a courageous man.

He has converted to Islam for nine years.

He said: "When the city came, the people saw me and said: 'Uday ibn Hatem! The Messenger of Allaah (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said to me: "O 'Uday, I accept Islam." I said: "I have a religion." He said: "I know your religion from you ...

I think that it only prevents you from a hatred that you see around me.

He said: Have you been puzzled? I said: I did not know it and I learned its place.

He said, "It is about to come out of them without any neighborhood until you go around the house, and to reveal to us the treasures of Kesra bin Hormuz." I said: Kesra bin Hormuz? He said: "Yes, and to make up the money, so that it is important for a man to accept his charity." Uday said: " I saw two: the flagrant, and I was in the first horses raided the treasures of my broken, and I swear to God to come back third the treasures of Kesra, and I swear to God to come back to the third one.

He said:" I came to the people of my folk.

He said: Yes, I believed when they disbelieved, and I knew when they denied, and died when they were treacherous, and accepted when they managed.

That the first charity has whitened the faces of the companions of the Messenger of Allah may Allah bless him and his family and blessings of charity.

He said: " What has been established prayer since I became Muslim only I am on ablution" Imam Ali (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) and Mu'awiyah fought in the battle of Safin.

The messengers differed between themselves.

Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib sent to Mu'awiyah: Uday ibn Hatim, Shubt ibn Raba'i, Yazid ibn Qais and Ziad ibn Khafah.

Uday bin Hatem and commended him and then said: (But after, we come to call you to a matter that God brings together our word and our nation, and God injects the blood of Muslims, and we call you the best precedent, and the best in Islam effects, and people have met him, and God guided them to see what they came , There is no one but you and others with you, oh Mu'awiyah before God and your companions will strike you like the day of the camel).

In this research, we reviewed the great role of this great companion who worked for the spread of Islam and steadfastness in principle despite the temptations of the fleeting world.

As well as highlighted the important stations of the stages of his life in which the Messenger of Allah Muhammad peace be upon him and the Imam of the godliness the Commander of the Faithful Ali bin Abi Talib and Imam Hassan peace be upon them in a difficult and harsh period passed in the history of Islam.

Where we highlighted in this research, the personality of Uday bin Hatem al-Tai and how he was a messenger and an envoy to Ali peace be upon him in the management of the conflict with Muawiyah.

He had a political speech of influence and persuasion on the other.

Through research and analysis, we found that this personality lived and worked in volatile political and social conditions witnessed by Islamic history, especially in the period when the faithful and his son Hassan were required in Kufa, which witnessed many conspiracies and intrigues, where he gave a living example of sacrifice and steadfastness on principle.
