Our research focuses on one of the personalities of the monarchy in Iraq (1921-1958), the figure of Ismail Namiq, who assumed the position of Minister of Defense in more than one Iraqi ministry, and in a period considered one of the dangerous periods in the world in general, and Iraq in particular, which is the period of the end of the years of the World War The second (1939-1945), and the beginning of the democratic opening in Iraq in 1946.
Moreover, Ismail Namiq had an honorable stance on Arab issues, especially the Palestinian issue, which meant for him an issue of life or death.
