The research aims to identify the effect of the alternatives strategy on the fourth grade students and to verify the goal, the researcher put the null hypothesis which states: There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group students who will study according to the alternatives strategy and the average scores Students of the control group who will study according to the usual method of the biology achievement test, and in order to verify it, apply his experience in the second half of the academic year (2019-2020) AD, as the research sample consisted of (69) students of the fourth grade of science in Canadian high school, And they were distributed randomly into two groups by (35) students in the experimental group, and (34) students in the control group, and the two groups were rewarded in the following variables: chronological age.

IQ test scores, mid-year biology scores.

In light of the relative importance of the content and behavioral purposes, an achievement test consisting of (40) items of the test type of multiple and pans was constructed, and the researcher verified the characteristics of the psychometric test for the test, and the application of the experiment continued for (8) weeks, and at the end of the experiment the achievement test was applied to the two groups.

Then, the results were analyzed and the experimental group students who studied altitude according to the alternatives strategy were superior to the control group who studied in the usual way in the academic achievement variable
