Abstract EN

The present research aims at offering a reading of the semantic representation and the phonetic symmetry in T-Rym poem by Tameem bn Jameel.

It has furnished a definition of the semantic representation from a linguistic viewpoint, it has examined the text structure and architecture as well as its cognitive and psychological dimensions and finally demonstrated the level of symmetry and cohesion in the text in addition to its artistic and aesthetic dimensions.

On the Level of the phonetic symmetry, the research had displayed the musical formation in the text and revealed the poet’s linguistic, cognitive and artistic competence in employing small and large phonetic units in order to transform the cognitive and artistic values which interact in his mind and conscience into artistic and aesthetic values in his poetry.

The research has highlighted the poet’s capabilities in utilizing the cultural and humanitarian common ground with the addresses to be convinced to endeavor together to achieve the sublime goals.

It has also exhibited the cultural extension in Tameem’s t-rhyme poem.

It has shown that the Arabic poetic text has coped with all phases of building the Arab community that respects human life and maintains his dignity.
