ontemporary Islamic thought was involved in answering the questions of human happiness and the reasons that stand behind its loss despite the relentless pursuit of the human being to obtain it through the development of technology and increasing the frequency of industrialization.

Islamic jurisprudence answers to these questions were totally dissimilar regarding intellectual references.

While embarking upon these themes, we found ourselves in front of two contemporary intellectual trends: the western is represented by the German philosopher Herbert Marcuse, and contemporary French philosopher Edgar Morin.

And the Islamic which is led by two scholars: Muhammad bin Al-Hassan Al-Hajwi Al-Thaalabi, and Imam Abdisalam Yassin.

Both trends have an approach about relieving humankind from industrialization and technology crisis.

Their propositions intersect only in the objective, yet the means almost contradict.

The aforementioned trends raise the following questions: What is manufacturing, what is its relationship to human crisis, what are the ways to human relief ?
