Abstract EN

This study aimed to reveal the level of awareness of the Algerian citizen of the concept of citizenship, and to ascertain whether there is a correlation between variables of citizenship and the variables of election, to achieve the goal of the study, the citizenship and election measures were used, which included (22) items, the sample of the study consisted of (126) citizens, The latter's were selected by simple random sampling method.

After verifying the indicators of validity and reliability, it was revealed that the level of awareness of the concept of citizenship among the study sample was average.

In addition, the results showed the existence of a direct correlation between citizenship and election.
