Abstract EN

This research deals with the political situation in Rome since the murder of Julius Caesar in 44 BC and until the end of the rule of Gaius Octavius (Augustine) in 14 AD.

During this period، Rome witnessed important political developments، perhaps the most prominent of which is the alliance between the three leaders، "Marcus Antonius and Gaius Octavius،" Lapidus، "and the formation of what is known as the second tripartite government، that government which it as soon as was formed، liquidated everyone who participated، accused، or incited the murder of Julius Caesar، so that a large number of senators and businessmen were killed، and it practiced all kinds of terror، oppression and injustice، there was not spared from her oppression، even widows and children، as many properties were confiscated unlawfully.

There were also who killed without guilt due to slander or hatred.

After the leaders of the second tripartite government consolidated their influence inside Rome and eliminated all opponents abroad، the influence of the empire was divided among the three leaders، but this government did not last long due to competition and the pursuit of power، so Lepidus was removed from this government، and then the war arose between Antoninus and Octavius، and in the Battle of Actium، which it took place against Antonius and his ally and his wife Cleopatra VII، Queen of Egypt، and the battle ended in the defeat of Antonius and his ally، so Antony committed suicide and his wife also followed him، and Octavius was singled out with authority to witness in his time Rome after all that it had gone through، its brightest times.
