After the excessive use of nature's resources and components during the past three decades, many architectural trends emerged that adopted and supported the idea of the importance of ecological balance embodied in green buildings, therefore, the green or environmentally friendly city has become the approach that the Algerian government bets on in light of adopting a sustainable development policy .It is a bold step by the Algerian urban legislator that appreciates the efforts made to improve the sector and to move the city and the environment to the ranks of the developed countries in the world and achieve sustainable urbanization
