The duality of media and public opinion is one of the most important forces influencing all political systems, especially the American system, as it is a double-edged sword.
It plays a pivotal and influential role in putting pressure on official authorities and political decision-makers.
At the same time, it is a supportive and influential element that the authorities use to support their internal and external policies.
The media is one of the means through which it is possible to influence public opinion through its use in order to direct opinions and push towards the adoption of the authorities and political decision-making institutions to certain policies that are in harmony with what these media institutions seek, The possession and control of the political forces of the various media led to ensuring that the authorities adopt policies that are compatible with their goals, based on their effective influence in putting pressure on the official authorities and through the use of public opinion.
The media and the American public opinion represent one of the most important forces and active groups in influencing US domestic and foreign policies, which is achieved by influencing the official political decision-making institutions and pushing them to adopt certain policies.
