Most of the humanities studies have focused on the topic of peace building, and it is to be mentioned that the field of political science has had the largest share of this interest, and the focus is often on the international dimension through the role of international organizations in building peace and the systemic dimension through the role of institutions in building peace, but the focus is rarely on the intellectual dimension in making and building peace.

Therefore, the study tries to shed light on this important dimension through a number of intellectual and political foundations that have a direct impact on the peace building process, stemming from the fact that thought is the basis on which behavior is determined.

The study has reached a number of these foundations, which are represented by good governance, moderation and constructive dialogue which are important pillars that cannot be dispensed with or ignored from making or building peace
