Abstract EN

The research aimed to identify the most important obstacles that limit the role of women in making decisions about the family, according to some variables.

The questionnaire was distributed to 65 researchers.

One of the results of the research is that the most important obstacles are: social, subjective and economic, and there are no statistical differences between the responses of the researchers on the axes of social, subjective and economic constraints due to changes in age, occupation and educational attainment.

The existence of statistically significant differences between the responses of the study sample attributable to the educational achievement on the axis of economic constraints, and these differences were in favor of highly educated researchers.

The research recommended that society should change its old beliefs about women and pay attention to the economic and employment status of women in order to enhance their ability and role within the family .
