Abstract EN

Research Topic Presenting the meanings and connotations of the term “subul” (ways) in plural form, which indeed was used in ten verses from the book of Allah.

Research Objectives The research is aimed at explaining the ways of peace and guidance mentioned by Allah in His book, which He urged His servants to adhere to and warning against ways of division and error.

Research Problem finding answers to the following: 1- What are the meanings comprised by the term “subul” (ways) whenever in comes in plural form in verses of the Quran? 2- Does difference in the places where this term is used necessitate differences in its connotation? Research Findings 1- The term “subul” (ways) was used in one hundred and seventy-five places in the Quran, and it was used in all of these places in the form of a noun.

2- The term “subul” (ways) was used in plural form in ten places from nine chapters, all of which are Meccan chapters except one which was Medina chapter and that is suratul Maidah.
