Abstract EN

Research Topic The study dealt with objective oriented exegesis of the Quran according to Muhammad Al-Amin ash-Shanqeety –may Allah have mercy on him- in his Quran exegesis (Adwaa Al-Bayan fi Idaah Al-Quran bil Quran), how he established and applied it in his exegesis, and explaining the reasons for the manifestation of objective oriented exegesis and its features in this book.

Main objective of the research: Investigating the independent opinions of ash-Shanqeety in his exegesis which indicate his consideration for objectives in Quranic exegesis by categorizing them, studying and reproducing them in an integral theoretical form, in other to know whether it is possible to include his exegesis among the Quran exegesis which follow the line of objective oriented exegesis.

Research problem: 1.

What is the meaning of objective oriented exegesis and of what importance is it? 2.

How did ash-Shanqeety establish objective oriented exegesis and how did he apply it in his exegesis of the Quran.

What are the elements and features of objective oriented exegesis according to ash-Shanqeety? Prominent research findings: 1.

Ash-Shanqeety’s comprehensive knowledge impacted on his methodology in his exegesis.

This methodology is multi-faceted, and is built on studying the Quran through various means till all its objectives become manifest.

The academic value of (Adwaa Al-Bayan) beginning from what it comprises of unique objective oriented aspects which triggered academic activity around it and became the concern of scholars of Quran exegesis and objectives of the shariah.
