The study aims to identify the Libyan public’s attitudes towards the role of electronic newspapers in spreading the culture of social tolerance, and the study relied on the descriptive approach, using the questionnaire form as a tool to collect data, and the study population was from the public of the city of Sirte with its various segments and components, and the researcher pulled a simple random sample of ( 60) single, and the study reached a set of results, the most important of which is that the sample members always share the news and issues of social tolerance that are published by electronic newspapers, at a rate of (45%) of the sample members, and it also shows that the reasons for the sample members ’tendency towards electronic newspapers in their treatment of social tolerance issues It alerts us to the danger of putting the country in a state where tolerance has not been achieved, and we are away from violence and intolerance, with a high percentage (41.67%) of the sample.
