Abstract EN

This study aimed to investigate the effect of training on tests forms of Program for International Student Assessment (PISA) in improving tenth grade students' performance in reading comprehension tests.

The sample of the study consisted of (54) tenth male grade students (two sections).

One section was selected randomly to be assigned the training on international tests forms (PISA), and served as the Experimental group, whereas, the other one was assigned as the Controlled group, which wasn't involved in training.

The results of the statistical analysis showed that there was significant difference in the post-test scores on the reading skills of the two groups, for the benefit of the Experimental group.

The results of the multivariate analysis showed that there were statistically significant differences between the average of the experimental and control groups in one of the skills identified in the reading field: the " reflection and evaluation" skill for the experimental group.
