This paper presents a survey summary to present the efforts and steps taken by Yemen to establish a stock market in Yemen.

The paper aims to investigate the steps and efforts taken by Yemen to prepare for the establishment of a stock market.

The Yemeni government has taken several tangible steps to establish a stock exchange in Yemen, where several discussions and foreign visits took place in order to benefit from the successful experiences in different stock exchanges Yemen has made several efforts that are considered a base to create the appropriate atmosphere for the establishment of a stock exchange in Yemen.

The Yemeni government began implementing the financial and administrative reform program in 1995, in agreement with the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank, and the start of the privatization program.

Yemen has prepared a draft law on the procedures required to establish a stock market.
