Abstract EN

This study derives its importance from being highlighting the direct and indirect relations between information and sustainable development that the kingdom of Saudi Arabia aspires to achieve through its vision for the year 2030 ad.

the information of this study mainly focuses on reviewing the open data provided by national libraries in a number of Arab and foreign countries to reach the standard form that this open data should be in the national library in most countries of the world.

therefore, the researchers have presented open data in each of the national libraries of the kingdom of Saudi Arabia (king Fahd national library), the Egyptian national library (Egyptian national library and archives), the national library of the united kingdom (British library), and the national library of the united states of America (American library of congress).

as Arab, European and American models of what these open data published on their official sites should be in every one of these countries, with an analysis of the amount of benefit from this data, after defining its types, size, and powers for use by the beneficiaries, as well as their compliance with government portals of open data in these four countries.
