This study is primarily aimed at shedding light on QR code's technology, which is a modern information technology that has been introduced in the field of libraries and information science, and this study reviews the rapid response code in information institutions, in terms of time and how it is applied in institutions and in any areas use QR code, what are the values and challenges facing the information institutions when using the rapid response code technology, the survey went on the survey method, and use the questionnaire to collect data from the staff of the information technology units , managers and supervisors central institutions, where it became clear from the study that the information institutions are still in the early beginnings of the application of QR code, which is a good indicator of the start of institutions to develop their services and the introduction of modern information technologies, and highlighted the use of rapid response code in the field of marketing, reference services and services information, one of the most notable values from the use of QR code is the activation and development of e-services and the protection of paper collections from damage, and one of the most important challenges facing the rapid response code is that staff should be trained to generate a rapid response code, and to identify and beneficiaries how use it and take advantage of it and also the response code needs a smartphone or a mobile device to scan the codes.
