Abstract EN

This paper deals with the definition of the sunnah of the prophet linguistically and terminologically, and the reality of error in it and its manifestations, and attempts to identify the causes of error in understanding the sunnah, and methods of treatment in an elaborate and applied approach.

the importance of the research lies in first : identifying the paths that scholars have taken in understanding the sunnah of the prophet, and the paths that deviants have taken in understanding them ; to walk in the passage of scholars, and answer the delinquents.

second : defending the sunnah of the prophet صلى الله عليه وسلم, solving problems around it, and contributing to answering the suspicions raised about it, and try to find out the parameters of its understanding.

third : determining the rules and regulations through which we come to the truth of what is meant by the prophetic text.
