Abstract EN
The study aimed to identify the extent to which teachers of physical education used the principles of effective teaching from their point of view in the capital city Amman.
the scale of (al-Saffar, 2016) was used to collect data.
the study sample consisted of (31) teachers of physical education of both sexes, in university area, located in the capital governorate of Amman.
the descriptive method was used to achieve the objectives of the study, means and standard deviations were used, as well as the use of (t-test) to answer the study questions, the results were high for each area(communication and contacting with students, planning and classroom management, teaching strategies, skill and motor skills).
the evaluation scored medium level.
the results of the study showed that there were no significant differences in the level of use of physical education teachers for the principles of effective teaching from their point of view in the capital city of Amman due to sex and school.
the study recommended working to raise the level of evaluation among teachers of physical education and taking into account the factors that increase the ability of teachers to evaluate, and hold workshops lectures to demonstrate effective teaching and its importance and benefit from it.
