The Use of Infographics and PADLET in the Development of Reasoning Thinking and Psychological and Cognitive Engagement of Female Student teachers at Al-Azhar University

The current research aimed at investigating the effect of employing the infographic and Padlet on the development of reasoning thinking and psychological and cognitive engagement of the female student teachers at the Faculty of Home Economics, Al-Azhar University.

The participants were selected in two stages: And the psychological and cognitive integration scale and verbal intelligence test, the number reached (48) female teachers, whose ages range between (20-21) years, and the second stage: represented by the basic study sample of (40) female teachers; They were divided into (20) female students representing the experimental group, and (20) female students representing the control group, all of whom ranged between (20-21) years.

The following tools were applied to them: to test Reasoning thinking and measure psychological and cognitive integration.

The experimental treatment was applied to the experimental group only.

The data were analyzed statistically using Mann-Whitney and Wilkexon tests.

The results of the study showed that there were statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the pre and post measurements of the experimental group in the total score of the Reasoning thinking test in favor of the post-measurement, and in the total score of the psychological and cognitive integration scale and each of its dimensions in favor of the post-measurement.

The results also showed statistically significant differences at the level (0.01) between the mean scores of the experimental and control groups in the post-measurement in the total score of the Reasoning thinking test in favor of the experimental group, and in the total score of the psychological and cognitive integration scale and each of its dimensions in favor of the experimental group, and in light of that The researcher recommended making use of infographic technology and the digital wall to develop Reasoning thinking and psychological and cognitive integration.
