Title: Post-traumatic growth and social support in breast cancer patients.

"Comparative prophetic study".

The current research objective is to: identify the level of post-traumatic growth in breast cancer patients, and to study a relationship between post-traumatic growth and social support.

Check the significance of differences in post-traumatic growth and social support in the light of some demographic variables (social status, education, duration of treatment and age), and check the predictability of (PTG) through social support in breast cancer patients.

So follow the comparative correlation al-Descriptive approach.

The research sample consisted of: (174) breast cancer patients, ranging in age from: 25-62.

Researcher prepared and used: post-traumatic growth measure for breast cancer patients, social support measure for breast cancer patients, and preliminary data collection form on the case.

The results of the research showed: The presence of post-traumatic growth to a medium degree in the study sample, the existence of a positive and statistically significant correlation between post-traumatic growth and social support in their dimensions, as well as found differences in post-traumatic growth and social support due to (social status, duration of disease, age), while no differences appeared depending on the change of education.
