The study aimed to investigate the relationship between low academic achievement and family climate among the students of the intermediate stage in Al-Makhwa Governorate and verifying the existence of differences of statistical significance due to the variable of the class /standard of living.

In order to achieve these objectives.

The researcher used the descriptive method.

The sample of study consisted of middle school students in the three grades and included 306 students with 23% of the study population.

The results of the study showed that the degree of low academic achievement among the students of the intermediate stage in Al-Makhwa Governorate was (2.85) and at some degree, an average of (2.85).

Also, the degree of family climate among the students of the intermediate stage in theAL- Mohawk governorate was at an average of (2.79).

There were statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the mathematical averages of the low academic achievement degrees and the family climate according to the difference in the class in three dimensions (family and social factors - school factors - psychological factors - total score).

For the first grade students average.

And the ence of statistically significant differences at the level of (0.05) between the mathematical averages of the degrees of school delay and the degrees of family climate according to the difference of living standard.

(Social factors - school factors - mental factors - psychological factors), and the family climate in its dimensions (inhuman - artificial love - integrated family - emotional climate) with correlation coefficients ranging from (0.56) to (0.78).

There is a possibility of predicting for the low academic achievement through the family climate of middle school students in Al-Makhwah Governorate.

The study recommended with some finding solutions to overcome low academic achievement, both in terms of family and social factors, or some school factors, and the need to educate the family to provide a family atmosphere within the home, so as to provide a good environment for students to obtain the educational and then overcome the factors of delayed school.
