Abstract EN

This research aims to present an outline proposed training program for reducing visuomotor coordination disorder in children with learning disabilities.

The research community consists of pupils with learning disabilities in the third primary stage joining special education programs in general education schools in the north of Riyadh.

The researchers will select (20) pupils with learning disabilities who suffer from a disorder in the skills of visuomotor coordination, and they will be divided into two groups, one of which is an experimental group that includes (10) pupils, and the other is a control group that includes (10) pupils as well.

The researchers will consider that the pupils in each of the two groups are homogeneous in chronological age, intelligence quotient, and degree of the disorder in the skills of visuomotor coordination.

The researchers have prepared a training program to reduce the visuomotor coordination disorder among pupils with learning disabilities, which depends on a group of different techniques and activities (modeling and imitation, reinforcement, prompt and encouragement, repetition, and homework), aimed at reducing visuomotor coordination disorder in children with learning disabilities aged 8 to 10.

The program contains (22) training sessions, and the duration of each session is approximately (30) minutes.

The program can be applied over a period of two months, including 3 sessions per week.
