Abstract EN

This study is concerned with the development of the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the European Union since the emergence of the European Union under this name in November 1993.

Therefore, our study considers the period(1994-2015).

The study opens with an introduction that shows the definition of the geography of international trade and the importance of international trade for peoples.

It gives a gist about the area of the study.

The study also considers the volume of trade exchange between Egypt and the European Union countries during the period (1987-1993).

Then, it is followed by the study of trade exchange between Egypt and the European Union during the period(1994-2015) by highlighting the relative importance of Egypt's exports to European Union countries, the relative importance of Egypt's imports from the European Union countries and studying the growth rates of Egypt's exports to the European Union countries.

The study is concluded with a study of the trade balance between Egypt and European Union countries and the ratio of export coverage to imports during the period (1994-2015
