Abstract AR
تناول البحث تصوير زواج بيليوس و ثيتيس على تابوت رومانى من فيلا ألبانى بروما، و الذى يؤرخ لعصر الإمبراطور هادريان أى القرن الثانى الميلادى.
أتبع البحث المقدم منهج الدراسة الوصفية، و تبع ذلك الدراسة التحليلية، و أهم نتائج البحث.
و أعتمد البحث في دراسته على المصادر اليونانية و الرومانية، و المراجع العربية و الأجنبية بالإضافة إلى الدوريات الأجنبية المتخصصة.
وأما عن أهم نتائج البحث فتمثلت فى: أولا: عدم شيوع تصوير زواج بيليوس و ثيتيس في الفن الرومانى مقارنة بالفن اليونانى؛ فهو لا يشير إلى الزواج المقدس الذى كان يرغبه الزوجين في الحياة الأبدية.
ثانيا: عدم قبول الرومان لكون زواج بيليوس و ثيتيس كان سببا في أحداث حرب طروادة، و قبولهم لفكرة حتمية القدر.
ثالثا: اهتمام الفن الرومانى أكثر بمشاهد رعاية ثيتيس لأخيليوس و اعتبارها نموذجا في ذلك.
رابعا: ربما صور هذا الحدث منفردا في إطار سياسات هادريان الثقافية و الفلسفية.
خامسا: الإشارة إلى عقاب الآلهة من خلال عقاب بوسيدون.
سادسا: الإشارة إلىرغبة المتوفي في الحصول على النعيم من خلال ممارسة الأسرار الإليوسية، و انتشارها بين البلاء و النخب.
سابعا: الإشارة إلىرغبة المتوفىفي زفاف أسطورى يحضره الآلهة، و هو مغزى عام ينطبق على رجال و نساء لم يتمكنوا من الزواج في حياتهم.

The Most Important Search Results: First: The Rarity Peleus And Thetis WeddingIn The Roman Art Compared To Greek Art Because It Doesn't Refer To Holy Marriage, Which Was Desired By The Couple In The Eternal Life.
