Abstract EN

The study aimed to finding out the degree of achieving total quality management standards in public schools in Jordan from teachers’ point of view.

the study sample consisted (298) male and female teachers from the schools in the capital Amman governorate.

the descriptive-survey methodology was used.

to achieve the objectives of the study a questionnaire was developed and applied on the sample of the study after its validity and reliability were assured.

the results of the study indicated that the degree of achieving total quality management standards was medium in all its fields from teachers’ point of view.

there were no significant differences in the degree of achieving total quality management standards by school administrations in the capital Amman governorate attributed to sex, experience and academic qualification variables.

the study recommended the necessity of working to raise the level of total quality management in public schools through the preparation of specialized programs in total quality management and its concepts and principles for all employees in school, from administrators and teachers, so that it can be easy to apply.
