Abstract EN

This study aimed at finding out the degree to which public secondary school principals in the state of Kuwait apply administrative pioneering in their schools, and the effect of job status, sex and years of experience variables in their schools.

the descriptive-survey methodology was used.

the study sample consisted of (301) subjects who were chosen randomly.

a 32 items questionnaire was used to collect data.

its validity and reliability were assured.

the findings showed that the degree to which public secondery school principals in the state of Kuwait apply administerative pioneering in their schools was high.

as for the order of practicing the fields of the study according to their means, they were as follows : initiative, the risk, creativity, delegation and empowerment.

the findings also indicated that there were significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) for the responses of the study sample subjects attributed to years of experience variables in favor of (more than 10 years) category.

the results also indicated that there were no significant differences at (α ≤ 0.05) for the responses of the study sample subjects attributed to sex and job status.

in light of the findings of the study, the researchers recommended the creation of learning societies and exchange visits between highly experienced school principals and those with little experience.
