Abstract EN

The present research aims to identify the level of The Thought Suppression of Educational Counselors at the secondary schools.

The current research is determined by the educational counselors in the secondary schools of the Directorate General of Diyala Governorate / Governmental Morning Study for the academic year (2018-2019).

) To achieve the objective of the research, the descriptive approach was used.

The sample consisted of (200) mentors from secondary school counselors.

The researcher has adapted the measure of the intellectual repression of (Mahmoud, 2016), which is (42) paragraphs, and was presented to a group of experts in education and psychology, and became a standard (30) paragraph, and experts (100%) on the validity of the measure of application and thus The apparent honesty was achieved.

Stability was found in two ways: half-division (0.87) and vakronbach (0.90).

The following statistical methods were used: (Pearsoncorrelationcoefficient, Vaccronbach equation, Spearman equation, T-test for one sample, weighted mean, percent weight).

The results of the research showed that the members of theresearch sample suffer from intellectual repression, and in light of the results of the research, the researcher made a number of recommendations and suggestions.
