This study aimed to identify the effect of the brainstorming method on the cognitive achievement of Islamic education among middle school students.

The researcher used the experimental method and the descriptive analytical approach, and the study reached a number of results, including: There are no statistically significant differences at the level (0.05).

In the achievement of the Islamic education subject between the mean scores of the experimental group that studied the course according to the strategy of brainstorming in pre and post application.

The strategy of brainstorming and the control group who will study course itself in the traditional way in the post-application.

The researcher also reached a number of recommendations, including employing a brainstorming strategy in teaching Islamic education, designing Islamic education curricula to include educational topics and contents that are planned and taught according to the theory of brainstorming, including brainstorming strategy and how to use it in teaching Islamic education.
