Abstract EN

This study aims to investigate the appropriateness of the disclosure of gifted students in Jordan from the point view of teachers in King Abdullah II distinctive Schools.

The study population consisted of all teachers of these distinctive Schools in Jordan for the scholastic year (2014/2015), and their number is (500) teachers.

To answer the study questions; a questionnaire was developed to measure the adequacy of disclosure of gifted students in Jordan.

The study results show that the appropriateness of the disclosure of gifted students in Jordan was moderate with a mean of (2.93).

The results also showed no statistically significant differences at (α = 0.05) between the mean of the responses of the study sample to the study tool due to the variables of gender, educational qualification and years of experience.

The study suggests a set of recommendations; the most important of which is using many measures and standards in the process of discovering and identifying them, in addition to considering the nomination process of students themselves or the nomination of their partners.
