Abstract EN

Studies in the field of personality have become more important as the communities have had crises that result in psychological disturbances.

The method of managing the crises e.g.

health crises, is a major problem in itself that requires taking specific measures, such as moving into another area for medical treatment or isolation to reduce the number of infected cases.

This study aims to measure the dimensions of the personality (i.e.

extraversion and introversion) of the recovered cases from Covid-19 to reveal the differences in the aforementioned dimensions according to their gender, marital status, recovery period, cause of infection and age.

Descriptive and analytical approach was used and 85 recovered cases from Covid-19 in Bisha Governorate were selected.

A tool was constructed to measure the two dimensions using bipolar module of which the first part representing the extroverted aspect and the other side for the introverted one.

Also, face, experimental and content validity were measured and the values of Chi square, alpha Cronbach, and Gottman were calculated.

It was found that extroversion was high while introversion was low.

Also, there were differences in the extroversion of females and married couples, and the recovery period within the limits of a month and age of the age group (40 and above) i.e.

all at the level of (0.01), while there were not significant differences for the recovery period and the cause of infection,.

However, no significant differences were found in introversion except for the recovery period that was between hospital and home.

This study recommended much focus on counseling programs to enhance psychological immunity.
