Abstract EN

This study aimed to identify the components of adopting a balanced scorecard to assess strategic performance in the industrial sector by applying to some Algerian food industry institutions.

The main results showed that the food industry institutions have all the necessary ingredients to implement the balanced scorecard and that the environmental and social dimension in the balanced scorecard contribute effectively to the strategic performance evaluation of the institutions under study.

Finally, this study recommended to generalizing the use of the scorecard with its five dimensions to all Industrial sector institutions, due to its positive impact on its development and continuity.
