تشهد مدن اليوم على النمو الحضري غير المتناسب الذي يغير شكلها الحضري و المعماري و التاريخي والثقافي و يغير بشكل كبير الآثار التاريخية الموروثة من الحضارات السابقة.
في الواقع، هذه الآثار من الماضي في معظم الحالات معزولة أو مدفونة في الفضاء المحيط بها، مما يضر بهذا التراث والمجموعة العمرانية في نفس الوقت.
اليوم، أكثر من أي وقت مضى، السؤال يتعلق بمصير الثنائي النصب.
و محيطه التي لا يمكن بأي حال من الأحوال معالجتها بشكل منفصل وتتطلب دراسة و استراتيجيات عمل متعمقة.
سنقدم لمحة موجزة عن أهمية المناطق المحيطة في تعزيز التراث، و الصورة المتغيرة بشدة لهذا الأخير في الجزائر بالإضافة إلى مقترحات متعددة القطاعات من أجل فهم أفضل لمحيط الآثار التاريخية.
في الواقع، سنقترح شبكة قراءة جديدة و ترسيم حدود المناطق المحيطة، و مبادئ جديدة، ولكن أيضا مراجعة التشريعات السارية
Abstract EN
Today's cities bear witness to disproportionate urban growth transforming their urban, architectural, historical and cultural morphology, strongly altering the historical monuments inherited from previous civilisations.
Indeed, these vestiges of the past are isolated or buried in their surrounding space, which is detrimental to this heritage and urban ensemble at the same time.
Today, more than ever, the question concerns the fate of the monument-approach duo, which can in no way be treated separately and requires an in-depth study and action strategies.
In this article, we will look at the importance of the surroundings in the enhancement of heritage.
The strongly altered image of the latter in Algeria as well as multisectoral proposals for a better understanding of the surroundings of historic monuments will also be presented.
The objective is to propose a new reading and delimitation grid of the surroundings, new principles, and the revision of the legislation in force.

Les villes d'aujourd'hui témoignent de la croissance urbaine démesurée transformant leur morphologie urbaine, architecturale, historique et culturelle, altérant fortement les monuments historiques héritées des civilisations antérieures.
En effet, ces vestiges du passé sont isolés ou enfouis dans leur espace environnant ce qui nuit à cet ensemble patrimonial et urbain à la fois.
Aujourd'hui, plus que jamais, l'interrogation concerne le sort du duo monument-abords qui ne peut en aucun cas être traité séparément et nécessite une étude et stratégies d'action approfondies.
Dans cet article un regard sur l'importance des abords dans la valorisation du patrimoine sera exposé.
L'image fortement altérée de ces derniers en Algérie ainsi que des propositions multisectorielles pour une meilleure appréhension des abords des monuments historiques seront aussi présentées.
L'objectif étant de proposer une nouvelle grille de lecture et de délimitation des abords, de nouveaux principes, et la révision de la législation en vigueur.
