Abstract EN

This study is concerned with understanding the significance of the Qur’anic grammatical structures and their impact on the science of stopping and starting.

It gained its importance from a complete extrapolation of the positions of the letter ‘Ba ’ in oath sentences in the Holy Qur’an through an applied study aiming to address the grammatical disagreement on this issue clarifying the link between deleting the verb along with the oath letter ‘Ba ’ related to the issue of arbitrary starting in the verses of the Holy Qur’an to answer two main questions: Did the Holy Qur'an mentions that the verb along with the letter ‘Ba ’ of oath should be deleted? And to what extent is the deletion of the verb with the letter ‘Ba ’ of oath related to the issue of arbitrary starting? The study followed the extrapolative analytical method, and it was divided into three chapters.

The most important findings of the study are: The saying that the deletion of the verb with the letter ‘Ba ’ of oath does not occur in the Holy Qur’an is a weak opinion as being confirmed by Ibn Malik and Al-Zamakhshari
