Abstract EN

This study aims at identifying the foundations of the psychological trend in literary criticism and the fields of literary studies in analytic psychoanalytic criticism.

For this purpose, our interest in this study was related to the psychological analysis of literature and the factors of the emergence of the psychological trend in modern Arab criticism.

The study concluded that the analytical psychological approach can be useful in our understanding and analysis of literary works, through the friction of psychology with literature, and the correlation of psychoanalysis with literary criticism.
