This research tackles the issue of the term and its relation to Terminology, pointing out the various linguistic definitions of the word “term”, determining the differences between the usages of the “term” and the “conventional term”, linking between the linguistic and conventional concepts and indicating which term was used by Arin the past; is it “term” or “conventional term”.

In order for the research to reach a comparison between the term and the Terminology, by determining the points of resemblance and difference between them.
