This paper aims at demystifying the discussion on the relationship between applied linguistics and the teaching of Arabic, with specific premise on which reference to its linguistic skills.

The hypothecal this paper basis its discussion is that learner’s mastery of Arabic language requires the manifestation of its skills along with their good use of it.

For that reason, this endeavor is an attempt to touch in the Moroccan school referring upon the state of Arabic language.

To the results of the last report of the high council of education It also concerns itself with highlighting the February 2017.

Arabic importance of applied linguistics and how to develop language learner’s skills, and the alternative prospect through which one can develop the teaching of Arabic language.

Moreover, we will be shedding light on speaking skills in high school with regard to their state and prospect the Arabic language curriculum.

Therefore achieving this aim necessitates addressing questions : what is the importance of applied the following linguistics in improving Arabic language teaching ? What is the situation of Arabic language in our educational context ? What is the value of Arabic language learning if the linguistics skills are not improved ? Is not the overwhelming proficiency thanks to its daily uses ? What is the state of Arabic language today in terms of use ? speaking skills either on Arabic language curriculum or in the uses ? Is not it high time to shift the focus to speaking classroom skills and increase the quality of Arabic language learning ? How can learners sharpen their speaking skills ?
