Summary: The speech is considered one of the most common words in the field of linguistic studies, and it was widely received by scholars and researchers.

And it has been prompted by multiple definitions, with multidisciplinary and vision angles, as it is the term that we feel away from what it means, whenever we try to approach it and define it.

In this study, we try to review the multiple meanings and concepts of the term discourse on three basic levels: 1) At the level of the linguistic concept.

2) At the level of the Quranic concept.

3) At the level of modern concepts.
