Russian formalists have been interested by the concept of «motivation » because it is closely related to the field of the novel, this is why we will stand in the present article at the concept; its meaning and the mechanisms of its application on two selected fiction models: Al Ramad Alladhi Ghassala Alma and Ras El mihna of Azzedine DJELAOUDJI in order to expose and identify the different formats used during the construction of the fable in the text ( Construction, Frequency, Parallelism, framing), right up to the elements that make up its substance (subject, motivation test, personalities, Ideas) on the light of the bilateral relations (Sender/ Reciever/ Actor/ Theme/ Assistant/ Exhibiter).
