In his personal and public life, man needs time to express his feelings and thoughts with regard to the precept which postulates that to every context there is an utterance.

Besides, he is not able to fulfill this irresistible need only by using a noun or a verb.

In this article, we shed light on the definition of the terms “past, present and imperative verbs” linguistically and terminologically in the Algerian reference with a comparison of the two meanings.
